Or as someone else once pointed out quite remarkably: Pizza makes me think anything is possible. Which, to answer our initial question, can only lead to the following conclusion: There's rock and there's punk and there's Dead Sentries.

Suns Of Thyme supported A Place to Bury Strangers at The Lido in Berlin back in Sept 2013 and have grown in popularity ever since. Tour dates with Toy and The Dandy Warhols followed. Although they are not a metal band, their second album, Cascades, is out now on Napalm Records. Jascha (drums) and Tammo (keyboard) have another band, Odd Couple.

Nomadic Bang Bang Band Girl (see background pic) is a regular headliner at one-(wo)-man-band festivals in Europe and South America. A lover of Rockabilly, Surf, Garage and Trash Blues merged with No Wave and Noise, all with primitive roots in 50s Rock & Roll. Sheri Corleone sings alone on stage with her vintage Japanese Teisco guitar and a bass drum.

With influences ranging as far flung as the traditional music of his chosen Moroccan home, to the Blues of the muddy Mississippi and the Industrial Metal of his German roots, BONE ZENO’s dark poetic growl resonates with the listener’s base desires as he surrenders to the untamed sexual energy of the music. While his guitar screams in ecstasy, his moans and howls descend into a Bill Hicks-esque suck on the mic in a cumulative Beelzebub roar.

For 20 years, Nadj has travelled along the independent rock highway. Singing in French and English, her magnetic spiritual poetry has the power to ignite. The latest stop on her journey is the self-produced 4-track EP, recorded with members of the Italian rock band, Il Teatro Degli Orrori. Her vocals, sometimes clear and free with the feeling of release, swiftly become sharp and impactful as falling precious stones. Blues-grunge guitars and drums with enough power to carry her to the depths with the precision of a goldsmith.
ABOUT MÜTIG MÜZIK
Walking down the street one day, humming one of my favourite tunes by a relatively unknown "local-scene" band, I thought how sad it is that more people didn't know it! In that moment, I realised that over the last ten years or so I hadn't really listened to any music other than that made by musicians and bands that I know personally. Mütig Müzik is dedicated to all the great, "un-sung" bands and solo artists.
​
The name Mütig Müzik has a lot of significance for me. Meaning "Courageous Music" in German (I live in Berlin), I added the accents as a wink to Mötorhead and Mötley Crüe. The logo incorporates these dots, resembling musical notes, and the lines above the letters pay homage Indo-Aryan languages like Bengali and Punjabi (my home town Coventry has a high proportion of people who stem from the Indian sub-continent, so these cultures have shaped my upbringing somewhat).
